🇬🇧 THE 2025 MOYSE CHALLENGE - MONOPOLY 🇬🇧

For next year's challenge I wanted to do something different. Something new and exciting! To move away from mountains which I know limit a lot of you when it comes to not just logistics, but also mobility too.
 
It's vital that our challenges have two elements: a fitness challenge & a community spirit.
 
And so 2025's Moyse Challenge takes us to London for a step challenge with one hell of a twist!
 
Join us as you and your chosen team race your way around London visiting every landmark on the board to not just complete the Monopoly Challenge, but to earn points for every stop and be in with a chance to win the cash prize! Plus you get to explore & see the amazing city that is our capital!
 
Places are just £20 deposit per person to secure your place on the challenge taking place on Friday 4th April 2025.
 
(Please note this does not include your hotel, food and travel expenses which you will need to organise yourselves as per previous challenges)
 
The plan is we will all travel up to London (ideally together) via train on Thursday 3rd of April and stay at the London Waterloo (Lambeth Road) Premier Inn (as of typing priced at £284 for two people sharing including 2 x breakfast & dinner meal plans). I'd recommend booking the meal plan as we will also be eating together there Thursday & Friday night to not complicate things.
 
The challenge will begin at 9am sharp on Friday the 4th of April at the 'GO' destination that will be revealed to you & your team at the Thursday evening meal so you can then plan your travels (as the order in which you visit each location is completely up to you). You will also be given your own Monopoly game card on which to mark your visit to each location.
 
Qualification of each successful visit will come from a selfie of yourself & your entire team in front of the sign/street sign indicating you have visited that location. These photos will be required to be posted into the Challenge's Whatsapp group throughout the day.
 
Each location will earn you 10 points, a matching set will add another 10 points to your total as well.
 
There will also be side quests to complete to increase your points total, involving Monopoly featured pieces and elements.
 
The finish line will be the hotel's bar which all entrants must arrive back at by 5pm. Any later will incur a penalty.
 
Total points per team will be calculated and the winning team will be announced and awarded at the group meal on the Friday night. Each person to successfully visiting every location will also be awarded a 2025 Moyse Monopoly Challenge medal for completing the challenge.
 
There will also be awards for most step count along with the coveted 'Spirit Of The Challenge' award for the person who really embraces the support and community aspect of the challenge.
 
Make no mistake, this is A LOT of steps and although using the tube will be allowed, no other public transport is permitted. Meaning you're going to need a very comfortable pair of shoes as you're looking at a long day of exploring London regardless of the weather conditions!
