🇬🇧 THE 2026 MOYSE CHALLENGE - HUNT LONDON 🇬🇧

Off the back of a HUGELY successful 2025 Moyse Challenge where we competed to visit every single location on the Monopoly board, we're heading back to London to take on a whole new challenge with multiple twists!
As with every year, it's vital that my challenges have three elements: fitness, competition and community, and 2026 is no exception!
So join us as you and your chosen team race your way across London whilst being hunted by your fellow competitors!
Along the way you'll have to pickup certain items to earn points for your team, and then race to the communicated extraction point at the end of the day where you'll deliver those items.
The first team back will also be awarded additional points, plus the Moyse Community Facebook Group will be involved virtually too to vote for on certain elements to help you earn additional points.
Be careful to watch your spending though, as some of those items will require purchase. So each team will be given a budget and the better you manage your spending, the more money goes into the total prize pot for the winners.. .
BUT BEWARE!
Whilst you navigate your way across our capital, YOU WILL BE HUNTED.
Because the winners will be the team with the most points, those points are also awarded for hunting down your fellow competitors and collecting their unique wristbands.
More wristbands = more points which could turn the tables in your team's favour, should you not collect all of your items OR potentially even give you a greater chance of winning should you tick off all the items on your list as well!
Your deposit into the prize pot is just £25 per person to secure your place on the challenge, so the more who join, the bigger the pot!
Deadline for entry is 31st March 2026 (however please be aware the price of the hotel may change, so early booking = cheapest rate)
(Please note this does not include your hotel, food and travel expenses which you will need to organise yourselves as per previous challenges)
THE PLAN FOR THE EVENT:
The plan is we will all travel up to London on Thursday 18th June via whatever mode of transport suits you (this time driving is an option as I have chosen a hotel with free parking) and stay at the Wimbledon South Premier Inn (at time of typing priced at £293 for two people sharing a double room on the 'Advance' tariff including 2 x breakfast & dinner meal plans). I would recommend booking the meal plan as we will also be eating at the hotel's attached Thyme Bar & Grill on Thursday & Friday night to keep things simple and to keep us together.
ON CHALLENGE DAY:
The challenge will begin at 9am sharp on Friday the 19th of June at the 'Drop Off' point that will be revealed to you & your team at the Thursday evening meal so you can then plan your travels (as the order in which you collect your items is completely up to you). You will also be given your wristbands, team apparel & game card
Each item will earn you 10 points, however certain items carry a penalty should you purchase an item identical to another team, so thinking outside the box is critical!
Total team points will be calculated and the winning team will be announced and awarded at the group meal on the Friday night. Each person to successfully complete the challenge by arriving at the extraction point will also be awarded a 2026 Moyse Challenge medal.
There will also once again be unique awards for the person completing the most steps on the day, along with the coveted 'Spirit Of The Challenge' award for the person who really embraces the community & team-building aspect of the challenge.
Make no mistake, we learnt from Monopoly, this is A LOT of steps and although using the tube will be allowed, no other public transport is permitted. Meaning you're going to need a very comfortable pair of shoes as you're looking at a long day on your feet exploring London regardless of the weather conditions!
